Singapore citizens will be able to travel to Azerbaijan visa-free from August 1

If you've been putting off a trip to Azerbaijan because of visa requirements, there's good news. Starting August 1, 2026, Singapore citizens will no longer need a visa to visit Azerbaijan.
For travellers, this makes planning a trip much easier. Instead of dealing with paperwork, you can focus on choosing your itinerary, booking flights, finding the right hotels in Baku, and deciding how many days to spend in the capital before exploring the rest of the country.
And it's well worth it. Many visitors arrive in Baku for just a few days, only to wish they had stayed longer. The capital is usually the first stop, but rarely the last. Some continue to the Caspian Sea coast, others head for the mountains, while many discover Naftalan, one of Azerbaijan's best-known health resorts.
The visa-free regime makes travelling to Azerbaijan more convenient than ever. Fewer formalities mean it's easier to turn travel plans into reality. For many people in Singapore, this summer could be the perfect time to discover Azerbaijan for the first time.
